What would you think about a phone made from cotton? Will be soft, pliable and very light but without compromising the power or performance. This is the Soft Phone concept and was designed by Qian Jiang .

It is made from a series of discs with electronic fabric stretched in between. The phone interface can be used with a combination of tactile gestures like squeezing to hang-up and touch which detects a deformation on the surface to register input.

If you unfurl the collapsible device you will be have the possibility to use a full QWERTY keyboard.

But in the future won’t people use just hands-free thecnology?

Technical details about the phones are shown in the pictures.
