Fiber optics light glove

Slovenian designer Tilen Sepic, came up with a an interesting flashlight that seems to been taken straight out of the sci-fi movies.

The idea behind this concept is to produce a light without shadows being reflected in the object. The flashlight will be worn like a glove around the wrist and the light is emitted through LEDs. The light is transferred through optical fibers to the specified pointed location.

Maybe it is not confortable to wear a glove like this in the summer but in the winter will be really cool to be embeded in a real glove.

As gruedr said, is this a concept or is this available for sale? This would make life a whole lot easier while working on cars. The idea of having light available at your “fingertips” would be a dramatic improvement to holding flashlights or bulky “drop lights”

I’d like to see a video of it in action.

  5. Quite the innovative design. The functionality of a light with the comfort, flexibility and ease of handling of a glove? It’s marvelous. My only questions would be of battery life and the brightness of the light, but if both are suitable enough for practical use, then I would certainly purchase such a product.

“produce a light without shadows being reflected in the object” – whut? Care to clarify? or are you just taking that from the inventor verbatim?

I know of a lot of companies that have really exploded thanks in large part to social media marketing. It’s true that marketing needs to keep up with current trends in society. As explained, hash tags and interesting content are very important in getting your name out. No one will want to follow a page that posts nothing but boring business content. Thanks for the useful tips!
