Living in an urban environment has a major problem in general. The lack of green places surrounding the flats in big cities. The Dancing Apartment designed by Unsangdong Architects, is a radical structure that promises to bring nature in the urban environment.
It is located in South Korea, the modern structure is capable of fulfilling the needs different groups of people within the apartment. it has parks, leisure facilities, event spaces, a library, media space and performance space. An unique characteristic is that the apartments are constructed using oblique lines with each unit boasting a terrace.
It is something amazing to live in a high building and have your own trees next to your door. Definetly one of the best designs I have ever seen.
I would like to drink a coffee in the morning under a tree in my 20th floor flat.
