Can you guess what kind of building is it?

You will see some pictures of a new building designed in Austria. It looks very nice. Could be a hotel? A university? Who knows…you will find the answer and details at the end. Just think what it could be. I bet you won’t guess!

It is A PRISON!

Justice Center Leoben is a court and prison complex in Leoben, Austria, designed by architect Joseph Hohensinn. Everybody would now think to do something really bad to end up here but the prison is already full with its 205 inmates.

Wow.. Television in the room, indoor sport halls, a fitness room, stunning mountainous views, modern architecture and the floor seems so clean that I would eat off it. I bet they have a nice list of (free) educational programs as well.

This is 100x better than my school let alone my house. Austria here I come!!

There are people smiling in these pictures. Thats really all you need to see to know theyre being rewarded not punished theyre in prison .. Smiles and jumping with joy is absurd.

The best Jail to stay in is in Orange County California (Theo-lacy). I stayed there 2 months from Jan. to March of 2000. It was still a jail but the weather is nice in Southern California and we got to take classes and the food was freshly grown at the farm in Orange
County. I worked in the kitchen. The deputies were nice as well. They escorted you to breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had an open barracks like condition but the new wing has a more traditional jail accommodations with three cells attached to one sub-common area. Still you get the one hour a day yard time. Not sure on the mobility routine though for that area. Considering the food is good and the climate being nice it’s not at all bad. I was a stressed out businessman at the time I got sent there. It was a nice relaxing break.
