How to make a city in Russia look “better”

It seems that in Russia, the hiding of reality and trying to make it look better in a false way happens every day.

With the occasion of Putin visit in Saransk, the officials of the city wanted to have a good looking town. But because they didn’t have time to plant grass they…just painted the everything in GREEN!!! Imagine dirt painted in green !

What were they thinking… I wonder what Putin said…or if he noticed…

Saransk is a city in central European Russia and the capital of the Republic of Mordovia, as well as the financial and economic center. It is located in the Volga basin at the confluence of the Saranka and Insar Rivers, about 630 kilometers east of Moscow. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saransk )

It’s called hydroseeding. It’s a very effective, fast, and inexpensive way of planting seed.
