You will see some pictures of a new building designed in Austria. It looks very nice. Could be a hotel? A university? Who knows…you will find the answer and details at the end. Just think what it could be. I bet you won’t guess!

In the Biological Reserve of Huilo in the River Region of Chile you can find a very special hotel: Baobab Hotel in the middle of the forest, around a baobab tree. It has 55 rooms, a Spa and a meeting room for 200 people, among many other interesting stuff.

If you are in Chile and want to stay in a very unique hotel you should give it a try.

Carapicuiba House is an interesting project by architects Angelo Bucci and Alvaro Puntoni and it is built on a ground surface that falls abruptly down to 6m below. It has a two level steel structure on pilots and is covered with glass for great views.

It looks like a house from the future with its impressive design. And it seems that is surrounded by trees. It is getting close to perfection…Too bad that probably is not for sale and if it will it will cost a fortune.

In the following video you can listen to the World Changing founder (and TEDster) Alex Steffen, given at the Danish Architecture Centre, where he talks about how can me make sustainable cities with 20 solutions.

The speech is excellent and we should definetely follow them to have a healthy planet. Although he speaks for 90 minutes it is not boring.
