Holmegaard Glassworks of Denmark is one of the oldest glass art factories in the world. In the past it was making fine glass for the Danish Queen and today the Holmegaard tradition continues involving some of Denmark’s best known artists.

One of their recent creations is One table lamp by designer Maria Berntsen which comes in opal white or clear.

Featuring no axle, no screw, no spring or visible hinge, OneShot, designed by Patrick Jouin is a special chair.

Based on the power of gravity, a bunch of surfaces unfold to become a seat. The magic lies in the science of Selective Laser Sintering which allows the fabrication in just one shot of the seating surface.

Just put your fingers in it and when lift up, automatically folds to be taken everywhere with you.

The new fire furniture from Planika Fires features fire coffee tables and wall-mounted fireplaces to warm-up your room and aesthetics.

The lighting of Planika Fire is extremely easy and safe because it uses FANOLA fuel which doesn’t make fumes or smell. Only water vapour and CO2 are emitted and the proportions are similar to those contained in the air surounding us.

Dutch designer Marcel Wanders has launched the Crochet Chair - which is an amazing piece of art constructed from individual, hand-sewn crochet flowers, stitched together over a mould and stiffed with resin.The chair was launched at Smart Deco.

Marcel Wanders grew up in Boxtel, the Netherlands and graduated from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988 and is designing for the European design manufacturers like B&B Italia, Bisazza, Moroso, Flos, Cappellini and Moooi.

Designer Sebastian Gronemeyer inspired himself from the beautiful forms of orchid leaves to create this awesome chair. The smooth curves are actually ergonomic and the reinforced fiberglass material is pretty strong to sustain heavy weight.

Definitely unique and fits well both in modern and traditional homes.
