Patchwork or “pieced work” is a form of needlework that involves sewing together pieces of fabric into a larger design. These shapes are carefully measured and cut, basic geometric shapes making them easy to piece together. ( Wikipedia )

Squint and Bokja both produce modern versions of patchwork. Squint is an English company that creates furniture with a mix of English damasks, Japanese kimono silks, and 19th century French trimmings to create a a modern vision of patchwork.

Bokja is a Lebanese company that uses rich embroidery and luxury fabrics from across the region to create detailed and individual pieces.
