Amazing underground house

Remember the hobbit houses? This is the deluxe version. Situated in the Swiss village of Vals, deep in the mountains, the house is very hard to see, making it a perfect place for hiding :-) .

The amazing architecture plan comes from SeARCH and Christian Muller Architects. The houseincludes all the facilities such as a guest room, an entertainment area, but also an underground pathway.

Sometimes innovation and inventions are going a little to far and some people will have devices like the one in the following video.

Would you like to have a TV like this in your home? I prefer the normal one. Cheaper and not so complicated…

Paris Hilton’s dogs sleep in a better place than me

Yes this is true! The dogs owned by Paris Hilton probably have a better house than most of you! With a chandelier and even an air conditioner.

With 17 chihuahuas and one Pomeranian, Paris Hilton used an old room of her house for them but now she considered that is not enough and payed 250,000 dollars for a new brand dog house. A small wardrobe, and staircase and several beds for dogs? Hmm…let’s be serious , that is not very normal unless you want to show off.

Well…I want that house…or maybe not..it is too small, maybe if I was a midget it was perfect! Just joking :D .

Facebook offices

Studio o+a was responsible for redesigning Facebook’s new 150,000-square-foot office at Palo Alto, California, USA. The employees were consulted to find their expectations and each department was designed in a different way

“Just as people make the space on the website their own, we’ve opted to do the same with our physical space. We’ve left a lot of the walls white and the spaces unfinished to encourage employees to add the finishing touches.” (Facebook employee Everett Katigbak)

I can say that O+A did avery good job and I am sure that every reader will love to work in an office like this ( except maybe the readers who are working for Google… )

You will see some pictures of a new building designed in Austria. It looks very nice. Could be a hotel? A university? Who knows…you will find the answer and details at the end. Just think what it could be. I bet you won’t guess!
