The designers and architects at Bangkok-based Aesthetics Architects, have come up with a new office idea for the Ministery of Municipal Affairs & Agriculture (MMAA) in Qatar.The idea imitates nature, a cactus to be more precise.
After the construction it will be the largest concrete cactus structure in the world. They chosed this shape keeping in mind the hot and arid conditions of the region.
The edifice sports sun shades on its windows that open and close according to the buildings heating and cooling needs, much like the pores of the desert cactus.
The building looks amazing and really looks like a giant cactus. When are we going to see a mushroom building?
