Designer Jung Jae Yup tried to make a furniture that grows with your child or with your home. Being made from both simple birch plywood pieces and a large stainless steel structure you can make it bigger as your children grows or when you move to a bigger home. Its dimensions are 540 x 640 x 1620.

It can be useful to store a lot of different things in it.

United States of America bookshelf

Although it is hard to come up with new great designs, Ron Arad wanted to create something new, and he created a bookshelf inspired by the map of United States of America. Each shelf is a US state, so you can put books in your favorite states, or even put books by category. For example in Michigan , where is Detroit, you can put books about cars and so on :) .

This design was exhibited with other Ron Arad creations at the Timothy Taylor Gallery in London between April 8 and May 9, 2009.

In the pictures below the man who is building the bookshelf is using some advanced tools but you can use just a scissors and some glue.

Some day I will build for myself a bookshelf like this because is a unique thing and looks really well on your wall. But of course you need to find books that you don’t need anymore and you are ready to “destroy” them.

So here are the steps that you need to take, described in pictures:
