In the Biological Reserve of Huilo in the River Region of Chile you can find a very special hotel: Baobab Hotel in the middle of the forest, around a baobab tree. It has 55 rooms, a Spa and a meeting room for 200 people, among many other interesting stuff.

If you are in Chile and want to stay in a very unique hotel you should give it a try.

A flying hotel?

Wow! A flying hotel ? The Hotelicopter is the world’s first flying hotel. It was designed with the sophisticated, affluent traveler in mind.

“You’ve just taken off your belt, your shoes, your jacket, and put your laptop in a separate bin. You’re feeling a little bit - shall we say - undignified. All you want to do is melt into your hotel the moment you step onto the concourse.”

It will have 18 rooms for people who want to experience unique moments. Well… this 5 star hotel was just a joke of 1st April but…what do you think?

Do we really need a flying hotel? What will be the benefits?

Queen Elizabeth Hotel has 325 rooms and was been built to look like a cruise ship. The total cost? Around $50 million to build, and can be found “between the legendary Toros Mountains and the sparkling turquoise Mediterranean in Göynük, Antalya. Just on the first row of Shopping Center in Göynük.”

The hotel’s website and some additional photos can be found here.

I wonder how much does a room costs…

Antalya is a great destination for tourist and I plan to visit it this summer.

How A 5 Star Demolition Party Looks Like

A ‘Demolition Party’ is a party where they VIPs are invited to smash, wreck and generally annihilate anything left standing in the building: corridors, stairways, lobbies, rooms, etc.

Belgian designer and artist Arne Quinze created a temporary installation at the 5 star Parisian hotel Le Royal Monceau last month, before the hotel’s closure for a year with Philippe Starck designing the new interiors.

The installation called REBIRTH is a unique futuristic wooden sculpture, the hotel didn’t plan to go quietly giving an exclusive party.

The installation features 15 km of fluorescent red wood and 40 video screens to offer the public a mind-bowing and unique experience.

“REBIRTH reflects the transition moment in which the building’s DNA reveals its disorder, history and countless stories. It bursts out all it’s captured energy of the hotel’s last decades.

It is an organic fragmentation bomb that hangs still in the air, just for one moment, in perfect formation, before dissolving, disappearing and turning into a new, well-structured pattern again…”
