A real bonsai can be quite expensive and hard to find, but there are some solutions if you still want to have a cheap bonsai tree. The Growing Chair is a clear plastic frame in which you grow trees to form a seat shape. After it grows you can remove the frame and plant the tree in your garden, or keep the frame and use it like a real chair.

I would love to have a couple of this tree chairs and a tree table to eat my breakfast in the garden surrounded by nature.

Peter Cook and Becky Northey began shaping plum tree since 1995 when they met, into living art they call Pooktre. During their first year they started shaping the young trees into a coffee table and a mirror frame. Over the years the trees were shaped and formed into tables, hat and coat racks, chairs, beds, mirror frames and anything else Peter and Becky decide.

The shaping process takes years. New trees are planted in the Spring and Peter and Becky harvest completed pieces in the Fall.

The idea is interesting, but I wouldn’t like such a weird piece of furniture in home.

If you are looking for an interesting decoration idea for one of your home walls you should try this Tree Vinyl Wall Decal, designed by WilsonGraphics. The tree with the dimensions of approximately 70″ tall by approximately 70″ wide could change the whole atmosphere of any room. You can see on the pictures how good it looks.

Easy to apply but it costs $80. Not very cheap and not very expensive, but if you like to “plant” a tree in your bedroom, give it a try.

This Tree table is the latest creation by Sebastian Errazuriz and which have been seen Cristina Grajales Gallery, New-York.

This piece of furniture is perfect to put in offices, home and places where innovation is given precedence over conventionality. Although it may seem weird to some people, many of us will consider it a beutiful thing but its price of $120,000 I think is over exagerated. With a little effort I think that everyone can built a table like this.
