LightDrops is a unusual imbrella designed by Sang-Kyun Park and as water pours over the surface, potential energy from raindrops is transformed into electrical energy which is powering embedded LEDs on your umbrella. The heavier the rain, the brighter the light.

Interesting idea especially when you are out without a flashlight but…if it is not night you…the LEDs won’t help you.

This futuristic umbrella designed in Tokyo allows you to take pictures with a built-in camera and uploaded them directly to Flickr via a wireless internet connection. In a few minutes you can watch on your umbrella interior a photo slideshow.

You can think yourself like a James Bond which spies the surrounding world. A must have device for a spy!

The umbrella also has GPS and a digital compass, which uses Google Earth to navigate. In the next versions a video camera will be incorporated.
